NRJ GROUP, (a) major radio group in France and Europe chose the SmartJog company to stream all of their radio stations, TV & web radios on Internet and mobile networks.

SmartJog* operates one of the biggest streaming platforms in the market, while supplying broadcasting (PC, connected TV, digital tablets and smartphones) to more than 280 audiovisual medias in France and Europe.

With this new agreement, SmartJog intends to work very closely with the NRJ GROUP, providing the group with innovative Internet development, using highly specialized teams and state of the art solutions such as Live, On Demand and Podcast streaming.

This agreement incorporates the use of the « SmartDam » solution, which is a product developed by SmartJog for the digital archiving of all audiovisual contents for the NRJ GROUP using a private Cloud. The NRJ GROUP will be in charge of encoding their contents and will be responsible for their players as well as their associated metadata.

Within the framework of this agreement, the NRJ GROUP will also have access to all the services linked to the broadcasting of their programmes, statistical tools, secured streams, stream supervision and 24/7 support services.

* In April 2010, SmartJog announced the acquisition of the company Radios.fr which was a TDF subsidiary known and operating as TV-Radio.com. This company has been specializing in the global solution of streaming Live events or on demand content via Internet.

This solution is now integrated in the SmartJog platform, creating a unique and comprehensive Content Delivery Network (CDN) dedicated to the delivery and streaming of audiovisual programmes.
